Cluster Level Social Science Exhibition 2009: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Cluster Level Social Science Exhibition (Dimapur Cluster), Silchar Region was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Project Sewak, Dimapur from 26-27 October 2009. A total of around 300 students from nine Kendriya Vidyalayas from Nagaland and Assam competed in different events like Exhibition of Models, My India Quiz, Group Dance, Group Song, Solo Song, Instrument, Drawing and Painting and Debate in both English and Hindi.
Brig. Balraj Singh, Chief Engineer, HQ Project Sewk and Chairman, VMC, KV Dimapur inaugurated the programme on 26th October. Lt. Col. D.K Yadav, Nominee Chairman, VMC, Col. J.K Tripathi, RMO, ARTC & S, Dimapur, Prof. P.K Singh, NU were also present during the ceremony.

Glass Painting Competition: A painting competition for Class IV-VIII students organised by Pidlite Industries Ltd. on 16 September 2009. 43 students participated in the competition.

Painting Competition for Scouts and Guides: Mast. Bijay Kumar Sharma, IX B bagged first position in the Painting competiton held on 9th August 2009. Mast. Jaminula Ali, IX b and Mast. Deepak Deb, VIII B bagged second and third positions respectively.

Teachers' Day 2009: Vidyalaya celebrated Teachers Day on September 5, 2009 with a variety of programmes.

School Level Social Science Exhibition: Was held on 12 August 2009. Students of Class VI-XII enthusiastically participated in the exhibition. There were 78 models made by the students.

Annual Day 2008-09: Annual Day 2008-09 was celebrated on 30 april2008. Bgdr. Balraj Singh, Cheif Engineer, Project Sewak honoured the function as Chief Guest. C. Valmiki, Principal presented the Annual Report highlighting various activities and achievements of students in the session. Students performed various cultural programmes.

Thinkquest Workshop: The vidyalaya hostet the two day workshop on Thinkquest for the teachers of Silchar Region from 9-10 April 2009.

Training Programme on CMP: Brig. Balraj Singh, CE Project Sewak and Chairman, VMC inaugurated the Three Days Training Programme for Primary Teachers on Common Minimum Programme on 16 March 2009. 25 teachers from 12 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Silchar Region are participating in the training. In his inaugural address the Chief Guest stressed the need for qualitative improvement of primary education and role played by the teachers in nation building. Lt. Col. D.K Yadav, Nominee Chairman, VMC was also present during the function.

Commissioner's Visit : Hon'ble Commissioner, KVS Sh. Ranglal Jamuda, IAS visited the vidyalaya on 7th March 2009. The commissioner attended Principals Conference on the same day at the vidyalaya which was attended by 26 principals of nearby Kendriya Vidyalayas. Mr. K.J Subba, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Silchar was also present. In his address, the Commissioner appreciated the Vidyalaya activities and achievements of vidyalaya in Project Thinquest.

The Commissioner also interacted with Brig. Balraj Singh, CE Project Sewak and Chairman, VMC regarding the improvement of Vidyalaya.

National Children's Science Congress: 42 students of the vidyalaya visited the National Children's Science Congress held from 27-31 December 2008 at Livingstone Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and interacted with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at DPS, Dimapur. The focal theme was “Planet Earth – Our home: Explore, share and care".

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration: The vidyalaya celebrated Gandhi Jayanti by organising various competitions. Essay Competition on "The relevance of Gandhism in the modern world" in English and Hindi, Gandhi Quiz etc. were organised.

PTA Meeting: PTA Meeting organised on 4th October 2008. A special meeting of parents of board class students with the teacher conducted in the Vidyalaya library. The meeting discussed problems faced by the students and measurements for improving board results for 2009.

Hindi Pakwara: Vidyalaya celebrated Hindi Pakwada from 14 September 2008 with a variety of competitons and activities for staff and students. Essay writing competition, Debate, Slogan writing competition, poem reciting competition etc. were held.

Independance Day 2008: The vidyalaya celebrated 62nd Independance Day with variety of programs. Sh. Valmiki, Principal hoisted the flag. Lt. Col. D.K Yadav, Project Sewak was the Chief Guest.

First VMC Meeting: The First meeting of VMC for the session 2008-09 was held on 14 July 2008.

Felicitation of VMC Chairman: A feliciation for the outgoing VMC Chairman Bgdr. B.D Pandey, Sena Medal, Cheif Engineer, Project Sewak was organised on 14 July 2008.
